Paloma Development was selected by Kern Schools Federal Credit Union for the development of its new Bakersfield headquarters. The highly successful organization was spread out in a number of office locations and required a comprehensive solution to bring everyone “under the same roof."

The buildings are the first LEED Certified (green buildings) in the San Joaquin Valley. They were also selected for the 2006 Chairman’s Award for excellence by the Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce Design Competition.

Paloma worked closely with the client to design a two-building campus around a central fountain plaza. The twin steel-framed structures are an important component in the master-planned University Centre office park. The 145,000 square-foot administration buildings opened for business in November 2005.
